MayaSari van Rijswijk born in Jakarta (Indonesia) on May 14th 1980,

Singing has been her passion, since she was a little girl. So she decided to take classical vocal lessons Despite her classical voice, she is inspired by many kinds of music styles such as Classical, Musical, Opera, Gothic, Drum and Bass, Jazz, Electronica, J-pop and Dance. Through these different styles, her music made its way to what it is now.

 

In my first ep I could not really show my vocal range mainly because I had to sing on beats.

These beats were ok but not all of them were suitable for my voice mainly because I had to adjust my voice to the chords of the beat.

When it should be the other way around!

On April 6th 2022 I became a mother of in my eyes the most beautiful daughter ever! 

Her name is Shavonne Leona Solange van Rijswijk at the moment she is my audience 

Every parent knows that the first years of your child are so hectic

Unfortunately I don't have much me time to record

However I do sing and practice daily and write 

When there is more me time again I will pick up where I left with producer Raymond van der Vechte

We are both inspired by Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman and John Williams which of course are great composers!

With the help of producer Raymond I feel like I can finally express my full vocal potential!
